In 1945, fresh from training pilots during World War ΙΙ, Jim Burke, Sr. opened a Nash dealership in Birmingham. Seven years later, when Mr.Burke was awarded a Buick franchise, Jim Burke Automotive was on its way to decades of exciting expansion. Jim Burke, Jr. took over the reins of the company in 1976. Today the company has 13 franchises and employs more than 385 people.
